The seasons are a way we mark the natural changes of the year. Each one has its unique character - its gifts and its challenges. The lives of parish leaders also have seasons, times of fruitfulness, times of dormancy, periods of decline and days of new birth.

Seasons of the Pastoral life is a four part enrichment program conducted in a retreat format. Participants will engage in conversation around the thematic center of the natural cycle of seasons. The "circles of trust" that form during each of the four retreats will provide the container in which shared inquiry and dialogue can safely emerge - a mutual exploration of pastoral life and its changing contours and realities. For parish leaders occasions for open listening and speaking with trusted colleagues are all too rare. Time apart to "blow the dust from the other's eye" is a unique opportunity.

The 2010 - 2011 Seasons of the Pastoral Life program will commence with the fall retreat.
You can register now for all four retreats or for one retreat at a time.
(The schedule for the Winter, Spring and Summer retreats is set by participants in the fall retreat.)

All Seasons retreats commence with supper on Sunday and
conclude after lunch on Tuesday.
